Lighting control systems from Polymetrica
A lighting control system is a set of devices and software that allow you to adjust the on / off, as well as the intensity of the luminous flux separately in each room.
It may seem to an ordinary person that there is no special need for such a system: entered the room – turned on the light, left – turned it off. However, on the scale of large enterprises, the ability to automatically select the level of illumination depending on the time of day and weather conditions can significantly reduce the cost of electricity and provide more comfort to the working staff.

What tasks do lighting controllers solve
Automation.
One of the main advantages of installing Polymetrica lighting controllers is their almost complete autonomy. They can regulate the operation of lighting fixtures all year round according to a predetermined program with minimal human intervention.
Saving.
The high accuracy of all sensors and a flexible parameter setting system allow you to select the optimal light scenario for each room, depending on its purpose and location.
The system can turn on and off according to a predetermined schedule, respond to motion or adjust to the intensity of ambient natural light.
Easy to configure and scalable.
If necessary, additional lighting devices can be easily connected to the Polymetrica system and all parameters can be reconfigured from anywhere in the world using remote access. In addition, in the event of a malfunction, all responsible persons will immediately receive notifications on Telegram, Viber or in any other convenient way.
How the remote lighting control system works
The principle of operation of the system depends on whether it works in automatic mode or in response mode.
- During automatic operation, the software installed on the central server at a given moment in time sends signals to lighting devices, turning them on, off, or adjusting the brightness.
- In the response mode, locally located motion sensors, photocells or other devices perceive the change in the environment and send the appropriate command to the lighting devices. In this case, all information about the inclusion is also stored on the server and, if necessary, you can see when and where a certain device was triggered.

Where can automation devices be used?
Indoor lighting automation systems.
Most often, Polymetrica controllers are installed in warehouses, production halls, sales areas and other premises where it is necessary to maintain a constant level of lighting throughout the entire working day, or, conversely, turn on the light only when a person appears. You can set the same level of illumination throughout the area, or you can equip some places with additional devices – it all depends on the needs of each individual enterprise.
External lighting automation systems.
In addition to indoor use, Polymetrica systems can also be used to automate outdoor lighting devices – streets, parks, courtyards, parking lots, protected areas, etc. The program can be configured so that it turns on and off the lights every day at a new time – at depending on the length of daylight hours. Or equip it with a motion sensor so that only those areas where people walk are illuminated.
